Hey everyone, this is Eric and I am the Teacher Money Coach. I am a former Jr. High School Teacher and now a teacher educator at a small college. I also happen to be a massive finance nerd! I am launching this channel to help you take control of your money.

Teachers have a lot of financial barriers, such as low pay, high student loan debt, high fees in retirement accounts, and confusing pension systems. These videos will provide short, actionable information about financial matters relevant to teachers AND show you how a family of two educators (my wife and I) handle our money. I am going to lay it all out for you. How much we earn, what we spend on, how we save money, what retirement accounts we use, and anything else you want to know!

I am not providing information about our finances to brag or to say we are doing everything right, we definitely are not. Check back in a few weeks when I share about our biggest financial mistakes. I am giving you the information about our finances to give you concrete examples of how two educators (with 3 young children) handle money and build wealth.
